Cindy R. Irwin

Cindy R. Irwin, age 61 of Indianapolis passed away August 10, 2023, at Community North Heart Hospital. She was born April 15, 1962, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Connie (Pylent) White.

Cindy grew up on the banks of the Mississippi in the cotton fields of Tennessee. She worked for decades in the printing and logistics industries where she was respected and known by thousands as "Miss Cindy". Cindy was a Sunday school teacher and God mother who influenced the lives of generations of children who loved and knew her as "Cin Cin". She was loved and adored by her husband Tim who knew her only as "Darlin". She was a bright light in this world that dimmed too soon. Cindy was an avid outdoorswoman and enjoyed camping, archery, hunting, sewing , and collecting antiques. Above all else, Cindy was a devoted wife and Christian.

Cindy is survived by husband, Tim Irwin, stepdaughters Brittany Proctor and Ashley Blackledge. Step grandchildren Reiken Proctor and Remington Proctor. Siblings Caffie Flatt, Hellen Goad, Connie Forsythe, Rosa Shoffner, Rudy White, Lonjina Caviness, Yolanda Ring, and Daniel White, and In-laws, Jack, and Viola Irwin.

Preceded in death by nephew Joe Don Ashley, infant son, Chevy Lee Autry, Father Robert White, mother, Connie White.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm -8:00 pm, Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Flanner Buchanan - Speedway, 2950 N. High School Road, Speedway, Indiana 46224. Funeral service, 10:00 am, Friday August 18 at Wilkinson Church of Christ, 7293 SR 109, Wilkinson, Indiana 46186. Burial immediately following at McCray Cemetery, Wilkinson.
