Claire M. Merriweather May 28, 1945 - March 2, 2007 Claire M. (Willey) Merriweather, 61, a resident of Greenfield, formerly of Erie, PA, passed away March, 2, 2007 in Greenfield. She was born May 28, 1945 in Baltimore, MD to the late Joseph and Lenore (Corey) Willey. She graduated from Academy High School in Erie, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafts, and baking cakes. She was a homemaker and an avid singer. She is survived by husband, William L. Merriweather of Indianapolis; son, William J. (Jennifer) Merriweather of Erie; daughter, Shawna (William) Himes of Greenfield; grandchildren, Alena, Robert, Raelyn, Billy, Tyleah, Michael, Sarah, and Jonathon; brothers, Donald H. Willey and David (Linda) Willey all of Erie; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Joseph Willey. Funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield. Burial will be held at a later date at Lakeside Cemetery in Erie. Friends may call from 3 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home. To defray funeral expenses memorial contributions may be made to the Claire Merriweather fund c/o Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street Greenfield, IN 46140.
