Clarence A. Witham December 19, 1919 - July 1, 2010 Clarence A. Witham, 90, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born December 19, 1919 in Lebanon, Indiana and was the son of the late Albert and Carrie Witham. He was a graduate of Lebanon High School, served in the US Army during WWII, worked as a die cutter for Ray Envelope of Indianapolis, was a member of the Greenfield American Legion Post 119, the Nameless Creek Christian Church and former member of the Greenfield Community Choir. He enjoyed woodcarving, gardening, rug making and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Athena (Barnard) Barker-Witham; step-children, Jill (Kenneth) Wilhite of Westfield, Judith (Robert) Fee of Greenfield, Bill (Marilyn) Barker of Indianapolis, Beverly Brizendine of Florida, Marcella (Dave) Blair of Ohio, Mary Klene of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; step son-in-law, Donald Wagoner of Indianapolis. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Witham and brothers, Russell and William Witham. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Rev. Jim Carcia officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery with military graveside rites provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard. Friends may call Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Nameless Creek Christian Church, 3856 N. 800 E. Greenfield, IN 46140.
