Clarice Faye Dee (Kinder) Wood, 88 of Charlottesville, passed away Friday February 13, 2015 at Kindred Health Care in Greenfield. She was the youngest of 10 children, born on July 9, 1926 in Charlottesville, Indiana the daughter of the late Raymond Earl and Nellie Pearl (Comstock) Kinder. Clarice married Robert Bob William Wood on August 2, 1945. He passed away June 8, 1965. She never remarried but had a companion Loren Edwin Ed Jester who passed away on august 17, 2000. She loved NASCR racing most of all, Indy Racing League, I.U. Basket Ball under Bob Knights coaching and the Pacers when Reggie Miller was a player for them. She is survived by her daughter; Robin Rene Wood Cass (husband Leonard) of Fountaintown, grandson; Robert Earl Cass of Greenfield, granddaughters; Rachael Mae (Fannin)Cass, Heather Marie Cass- Smith (Husband Jedidiah) both of Greenfield, 9 great-grandchildren, sister; Violet Kinder- Walker of greenfield, and several nieces and nephews who lovingly called her Aunt Diddy. Clarice is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Linda Sue Wood-Pardee June 19, 1995, Granddaughter; Jennifer Lynn Wood-Hardy August 23, 2014, brothers and sisters; Marie Lucille( Monta) Bailey, Herman (Marian) Kinder, Nina (Jim) Sitton, Pearl (Charlie) Brolick, Charles (Estella-Peggy) Kinder, Freida (David-Bud) Duffy, Clarence (Maxine) Kinder, and twin brother Ferris-Buddy (Ruby) Kinder.
