Claudia Diane Johns

Claudia Diane (McKeand) Johns, 77, Anderson, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born on April 11, 1945, in Vincennes, Indiana to Claude Edward and Betty Jean McKeand. She attended Anderson High School.

Claudia worked as a manager for GasAmerica for many years. After moving back to Anderson, she worked part-time at Big Lots. She enjoyed playing BINGO, reading, and watching TV. She loved butterflies, volunteered at the Anderson Eagle's Lodge #174, and loved spending time with family during the holidays.

Claudia is survived by her children: Tom Johns, Patrick Johns, Julie Chumley, and Jeff Johns; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and brother, Jimmy McKeand.

She was preceded in death by her father, Claude McKeand; mother, Betty Jean Sanders; husband, Raymond Glenn Johns; and siblings: Michael McKeand, Jeff McKeand, and George McKeand.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, has been honored to assist the Johns family. There will not be any visitation for the public, but a private Celebration Dinner will be held in the future. Burial will take place in Lincoln Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Lodge, #174, 1315 Meridian Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
