Cora A Diskin December 17, 1930 - January 10, 2014 Cora A. Diskin, age 83 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Friday evening January 10, 2014 at Kindred Healthcare, Greenfield. She was born December 17, 1930 in Logan County, Kentucky to the late Ammon Marion & Alma (Britt) Long. She was a homemaker, retired from Western Electric of Indianapolis and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Greenfield. Cora loved to sew, cook and bake for her family. She is survived by her son, Marion Hammond of Greenfield, daughter, Billie (Earle) Gardner of Omaha, NE, sisters, Lucille Bush, Irene Elamon both of Russellville, Kentucky, two grandchildren, three great- grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Diskin in 1975, three brothers, Bill, Jesse, Frank, a sister, Ruth Gettings and her daughter-in-law, Judy Hammond in 2013. Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until time of service Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund, 1610 S. State Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140
