Cordie E. Glascock March 23, 1915 - February 18, 2010 Cordie E. Glascock, 94, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Sugar Creek Convalescent Center. She was born March 23, 1915 in Campbellsville, Kentucky to the late George R. and Virgie A. (Acree) Short. Cordie worked for General Motors of Anderson for 31 years, was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church and the U.A.W. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her grandkids. She is survived by three grandchildren, Michael (Becky) Spencer of New Palestine, Ricky (Alice) Spencer of Spiceland and Ron Spencer of Greenfield; 10 great grandchildren, Sean, Shane, Christopher, Vera, Coranne, Laura, Lorissa, Daniel, Jacob and Shawn; 2 great-great grandchildren, Jalen and Dreelynn; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Glascock, 1989; daughter, Nancy Spencer; five brothers and four sisters. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Pastor Richard Williams officiating. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Sugar Creek Baptist Church, 3928 S. 100 W. Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Jennifer Colassaco - November 21, 2011 at 04:54 PM I met Mrs.Cordie Glascock on Oct.22,2009 at Sugar Creek Nursing home when I became an C.N.A.She always had a smile on her face.Except when I came in the " mornings and she was at the door when I came in.She would say "Close the door it's cold out there." or "I'm cold." She always patted the girls hand when we tried to feed her.She would say "I'm full I don't want anymore to eat."She is missed at Sugar Creek.On Saturday Feb.20 I came into work and told the Nurses "I'm gonna miss Cordie.She was a kind lady.
