Cynthia Marie Kisenko August 29, 1963 - April 29, 2012 Cynthia Marie Kisenko age 48 years, a resident of New Palestine passed away Sunday April 29, 2012 at I.U. Health University Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born August 29, 1963 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Elmer and Lenora (Eakin) Pugh. Cindy spent most of her life in Hancock County, but enjoyed travel. Dan and Cindy celebrated their 20th anniversary in Ireland. Cindy was devoted to her husband and two girls, which she considered her biggest joy. She was active with the girls activities and as partner to Dan. Be it religion, business, social, or parenting, as a couple they strived to share with each other. Cindy also enjoyed her extended family and many friends. As the youngest of 9 siblings, she never was sure if she was first generation or second as her nieces and nephews were closer to her age. That she was beloved by all was apparent and Cindy was blessed to have the time to share her last days with family before she passed so quickly from her illness. Cindy was a poet and writer. She loved expressing herself and her thoughts and has left her works for Dan and the girls. She was a graduate of Greenfield Central High School, attended I.U.P.U.I. and was a graduate of Indiana Business College. Cynthia was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield and worked for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development from 1987 to present. She was a Program Director for two of her 25 years. She is survived by her husband, Daniel Kisenko whom she married on July 14, 1990, daughters, Kayla E. Kisenko, Breanna E. Kisenko of all of New Palestine, sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Van Ornum of Floyd Knobs, Ind., Pamela (Richard) Stanley of Greenfield, Theresa Myers of New Albany, Ind., Maureen (Ed) Hoar of Indianapolis, brothers, D. Michael (Loralee) Pugh of Eugene, Ore., Christopher (Judy) Pugh of Greene, Maine, Brian (Lorrie) Pugh of Columbia City, Ind., sister-in-law, Beverly Pugh of New Albany, Ind., mother-in-law, Eleanore Kisenko of New Palestine, brother-in-law, Peter Kisenko of Indianapolis and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Larry Pugh. Friends and family may call Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield. Burial will take place Agency, Society, at a 5635 1801 later W.
