Dale E. Ruggles

Dale E. Ruggles, 77 of Greenfield passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospice. He was born on June 22, 1938 in Indianapolis to the late Russell "Bud" Ruggles and Lola (Brooks) Manlove. Dale graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1956 and later joined the U.S. Army National Guard. Dale spent his career at Eli Lilly as a Scientist Technician until his retirement in 1993. Dale was an avid golfer, and auto racing fan, he also enjoyed attending sporting events, and spending time with his grandkids. Dale is survived by his loving wife Yoopadee "Dee" Ruggles whom he married on November 16, 1990. daughters; Cythnia Lynn Raker of Churubusco, IN, Kristi (Micheal) Dray, sisters; Marsha Sheffield, and Melissa Mattingly, brother; Russell Ruggles, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Dale is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters; Connie Goedert, Charlene Randolph. Friends may call from 11:00am to 1:00pm on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 1:00pm also at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the service at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
