Daniel Bernard Riley (69) of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away April 11, 2025, while in Suburban Hospice at his residence. Daniel was born February 21, 1956, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Leon Adam and Bertha Marie (Daugherty) Riley.
He was a CNA and retired from Windsor Park Manor in Illinois after 30 years of service. He turned his passion for riding bicycles into a bicycle repair ministry, with proceeds going to various Christian organizations. Daniel also drove a school bus for Greenfield Central Schools and was loved and appreciated by many of the students and their families.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Judith (Blasczynski) Riley and his children, Jessica (Garren) Harter and Jason (Noora) Riley. Daniel is also survived by his four grandchildren: Grayson, Elijah, Colton, and Olivia Harter. He is survived by his brothers and sisters: Sue (Carl) Skaggs, John (Susie) Riley, Kevin (Cindy) Riley, Mollie Riley, Bridget (Raymond) Musso, Donna (Al) Hammann, Patrick (Michelle) Riley, Theresa Riley, and Rebecca Riley. There are also many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews in the family.
Daniel was preceded in death by his brother, Tim Riley, and his parents Leon and Bertha Riley.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, May 17, at 3:00 p.m. at Reallife Church, 5151 W. US Hwy 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please donate to the Kingdom Builders fund at Realife Church in his memory.
