David William Glascock, 59, Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. David and his twin brother Dean were born on January 23, 1966, in Abilene, TX, to parents David Morgan and Elizabeth Ann (Morgan) Glascock. David is a 1984 graduate of Franklin Central High School, Indianapolis.
David, along with his brother Dean and 2 classmates, Mark Bruning and the late Larry Marcum, joined the Army reserves on the "buddy system" in their junior year of high school, then they went on to basic training that summer. After graduation he went on to serve in the active-duty Army for 2 more years. After leaving the Army, he attended college and then transitioned into being a business owner and operator working in maintenance, construction, asphalt paving, painting, and carpentry. David loved people. He never met a stranger and helped everyone he could. His stories were vast and wholesome. He was known for fun, could always be seen drinking a Dr. Pepper beverage, watching old TV programs, attending and watching NASCAR and Indy Car races, and enjoying family get-togethers. His love for dogs and cats was huge. He loved God, our country, and patriotism. He was of the Christian faith.
David is survived by his father, David Morgan (wife, Lucie Rose) Glascock; siblings: Connie Noah, twin Dean (wife, Janell) Glascock, Lori (husband, Larry) Reese, Susannah (husband, Zach) Francis, Daniel Glascock, Darren Glascock, Devin (wife, Ashley) Glascock, and Donald Glascock; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Ann Glascock; wife, Phyllis Glascock; and beloved dog, Sassy.

Visitation will be on Monday, August 18, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sandy McCloskey officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery with full military rites afforded.
