David Wayne Howell

David Wayne Howell, Age 68 of Greenfield passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital, Indianapolis. David was born January 4, 1953 in Indianapolis to the late James L. and Dorothy (Gray) Howell. He was a graduate of Mundelein High School, Mundelein, Illinois. David married Debby (Roberts) Howell on July 8, 1972. He worked for his family business, B.H.W. Water Conditioning most of his career. A long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, David served as a Bishop for the Cumberland Ward and as High Counselor for The Indianapolis North Stake. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed John Wayne movies, the Beatles and spending time on the beach. Above all, David was a devoted husband, father and grandpa and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Debby; children, Michael (Linda Marie) Howell, Shauna (Lance) Williams, Sarah (Ryan) Griesemer, and Stephanie (Randy) Reeves; grandchildren, Sarah, Natalie, Storm, Gunnar, Gray, Scout, Lincoln, Johanna, Lyla, Rogue, Copeland, Tana, Boone, and Tara; siblings, James Howell, Elizabeth Jane Eakes, Pam Gwinnup, and John (Sandy) Howell. David is preceded in death by his parents, listed above; brothers, Dennis Howell, and Kevin Howell; and stepmother, Betty Howell.
