David O. Nicholson February 18, 1938 - December 15, 2010 David O. Nicholson, 72, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2010. He was born February 18, 1938 in Hancock County to the late Carl Joseph and Julian Elizabeth (Dismore) Nicholson. David retired from his position at the Greenfield Post Office after 40 years of employment. He was a member of the Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge # 101, Greenfield Elks Lodge and Scottish Rite. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Joyce (Moss) Nicholson; daughters, Jane Nicholson of Indianapolis, Joylene VanAlst, Julie Lopez (friend, August Bondi), both of Greenfield; son, Jason (Misty) Nicholson of Greenfield; 9 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph C. and Robert Carl Nicholson and daughter, Debbie Rose. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 20, 2010 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield with Pastor Paul Enyart officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
