David L. Young

David L. Young, age 62 of Greenfield passed away unexpectedly Sunday, August 9, 2020 at his home. He was born April 20, 1958 in Greenfield to Jim and Frances (Ebert) Young. David was a graduate of Greenfield Central High. He loved gardening, cooking, and was a collector of antiques. David enjoyed boating on Eagle Creek and spending time with his friends at "The Office". Prior to his retirement in 2018, David enjoyed a 40-year tenure with Amtrak, Beech Grove, retiring as Environmental Coordinator. David was also a long-time member of the Eden Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his mother; Frances Young; children, Anna (Dustin) Anderson, Joseph (Danae) Young, Neil (Megan) Young and grandchildren, Maggie and Lynley Young. He is preceded in death by his father, Jim Young and brother, Michael Young. Friends may call 11 am – 1 pm, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main St., Greenfield, IN.
