Dawn Crawford Pope

Dawn Crawford Pope, 63, of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Community North Hospital, surrounded by family. She was born on February 24, 1960, in Indianapolis, to the late Russell and Pauline Crawford.

Dawn graduated from John Marshall High School and worked for several years in retail as a Sales Associate. Stan Pope was undoubtedly the love of her life, and they were married for 35 years. Dawn was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who knew her and will be sadly missed. Her dogs also meant the world to her.

She was passionate about fashion, bowling, reading, and travel. Dawn loved to talk and was an avid storyteller. She was proud of her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Dawn is survived by her loving husband, Stan Pope; children: Aaron Eagle, Gina Pope-King, and Peter (Kristin) Pope; 5 grandchildren: Robby Eagle, Elliot McCorkle, Amelia McCorkle, Bennett Pope, and Maxx Pope; brother-in-law, Brian (Lisa) Pope; and brother, Brian (Lisa) Crawford.
