Dean S. Hunt February 10, 1943 - June 16, 2012 Dean S. Hunt age 69 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Saturday night June 16, 2012 at Community Hospital East, Indianapolis following a long battle with Leukemia. He was born February 10, 1943 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Robert L. and Mildred (Crossley) Hunt. Dean retired from Allisons Transmissions, Speedway on February 1, 2006 after over 35 years of employment. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War Era. He attended the Chicago Institute of Art and was an artist that showed his work at Crazy Lake Art House and recently the Greenfield Banking Company. He enjoyed horseback riding with his horse "John", enjoyed making pottery and writing poetry. He will be missed by his many high school and community friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Jane (Richardson) Hunt of Greenfield, daughter, Jessica Hunt of Yorktown, son, Justin (Jacque) Hunt of Brunswick, Ohio, step-daughters, Elissa Cronk, Julie Hamm both of Greenfield, brothers, Gary (Marcia) Hunt of Charlottesville, Alan (Carol) Hunt of Richmond, Kentucky, 3 grandchildren, Dakota, Alexis, Avery, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, 2012 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield with military rites provided by the Greenfield Veteran Honor Guard.
