Delbert Dora

Delbert "Jim" Dora December 30, 1936 - January 4, 2014 Delbert J. "Jim" Dora, 77 of Knightstown, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. He was born December 30, 1936 in Greenfield, Indiana to the late Dewey and Hazel (Smith) Dora. He was a member of the First Church of God and was the head custodian at Harris Elementary School until his retirement in 1998. Delbert is survived by brother; Ted Dora of Shelbyville, sisters; Lucille Copper of Shelbyville and Bonnie (Randy) Capshaw of Indianapolis, a special niece; Deana (Chuck) Rutledge of Knightstown and several other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife; Ruth (Price) Dora in 1993, brothers; Philip Dora and Dewey Dora Jr. and sister; Loretta Spencer. Friends may call Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 2 4 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, January 13, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Chris Braschler officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana.
