Della Mae Bowman

Della Mae Bowman, age 87 of Greenfield passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hancock Health Suburban Hospice. She was born November 6, 1932 in Greenfield to the late Roy C. and Mary R. (Jack) Boles. Della married Paul Bowman on July 30, 1950 and they made their home in Greenfield. Prior to her retirement Della worked for Western Electric, Indianapolis. Della loved to shop and made frequent trips to Washington Square Mall. Her family fondly called her the "Garage Sale Queen". She loved her dogs, but her true love was her family and grandkids. Della is survived by her children, Larry A. Bowman and Mary Jo Monroe; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and sister, Evelyn Cooper. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul on May 22, 2019; son-in-law Bill Monroe and brother, Roy Boles. Friends may call Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. A private family burial at a later date.
