Delphia A. Parsons

Delphia A. Parsons, 98, of Greenfield, passed away on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Brandywine Golden Living Center in Greenfield She was born on May 12, 1920 in Steele, MO to the late Solomon and Izora (Smith) Parnell.Delphia married the love of her life, William O. Parsons on July 10, 1937. She spent her life as a homemaker raising her children. Delphia is survived by her children, Lindell (Linda) Parsons; Phillip (Connie) Parsons; daughters, Diana (Joe) Collingwood; Victor (Gloria) Parsons, 14 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 15 great great-grandchildren. Preceding Delphia in death are her parents; husband, William; son, Roy Parsons; sisters, Dimple Talley; Thelma Potz; Ella Wade; brothers, Carlo, Eck, and James Parnell. Visitation will be held from 10:30am to 12:00pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield at 12:30pm. Memorial contributions in memory of Delphia may be sent to the Hancock County Boys & Girls Club, 715 E. Lincoln St, Greenfield, IN 46140.
