Dennis Ray Clark

Dennis Ray Clark, 68, Shelbyville, IN, passed away at home after a long illness. Dennis was born on February 28, 1956, in Indianapolis, IN. He was a 1974 graduate of New Palestine High School and was a pole-vaulter on the track team. Dennis was good with his hands and enjoyed farming and construction. He liked to trap and was an accomplished fisherman.


Dennis is survived by his two children, Melissa (Brent) Day and Matthew (Kasey) Bricker; three step-children, Jamie Sturgill, Joe Mourey, and Chase Mourey; mother, Clara Clark; sisters, Diana (Brad) Blum, Donna (Chris) Clark; brother, Donald (Jodi) Clark; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; nine nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and great-nephews.


Dennis was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, and father, Carl Clark.


Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, with the service immediately following.
