Donna Ruth Hunter February 5, 1926 - July 17, 2008 Donna Ruth Hunter of Greenfield passed away July 17, 2008 after a long struggle with many infirmities. She was born on February 5, 1926 to the late Carl H. and Anna L. Winger Bocock in Marion, Indiana. A 1944 graduate of Converse High School, Donna attended Purdue University. She married Donn R. Hunter, M.D. on June 18, 1950. Donna enjoyed spending time with her family, and loved her salt-box home with its red drive, flowers, trees, and landscaping. She found joy in helping others and always had a friend or family with whom she was involved. She was a fifty year member of Converse Eastern Star, and was for many years active in Tri Kappa in Greenfield. She was a volunteer for both the American Cancer Society and the Red Cross, and a long-time member of Bradley United Methodist Church. Donna is survived by her husband Dr. Donn Hunter; her sons, Sam G. Hunter (and wife Pat) and John R. Hunter; her husbands, step children, Carol Marincovich (and husband Peter) and Tom Grier (and wife Linda). She is also survived by her grandchildren Rachel, Claire and Max and her step-grandchildren Elizabeth, Anna, Erin, and Rob. Her brother Robert Bocock, Sr. and niece Marianne Bocock also survive her. Donna was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Bocock Mills and nephew Robert Bocock, Jr. Friends may call Sunday, July 20 from 3 to 7 pm at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel. A funeral service will be held at Bradley United Methodist Church on Monday at 11:00 am, with calling one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bradley United Methodist Church, 210 West Main, Greenfield, IN 46140 or Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation, 801 N.
