Doris E. Cole May 6, 1926 - June 14, 2011 Doris E. Cole, 85, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born May 6, 1926, in Marion County to the late Arch and Mabel (Gotschall) Pike. Doris graduated from Raleigh High School, was a homemaker and farming wife. She was a member of Currys Chapel United Methodist Church, Eden Eastern Star, 101 (past Worthy Matron), Currys Community Ladies Club and a former Riley Home Hostess. She is survived by daughters, Marcia (Brett) Coley of Abingdon, VA, Sharon (Phil) Hunt of Greenfield, Judy (Tyler) Moore of Morristown, Janet "Bo" (Rod) Sparks of Greenfield; son, John Ronald (Connie) Cole of Greenfield; 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Cole in 1992; sister, Marguerite Williams; brother, Dale Pike. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery.
