Doris V. Duncan, age 95 of Greenfield passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Hancock Regional Hospital Hospice Care in Greenfield. She was born on June 18, 1920 to the late Devello and Nellie (Wilson) Cain.
Doris and her husband owned and operated Petes T.V.s in Greenfield for many years. Doris was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church in Greenfield. She loved hunting, fishing, flowers, and anything outdoors. She was also a former member of the F.O.E.
Surviving Doris is her daughter-in-law Wyneta Duncan of Greenfield; sisters, Irene (Paul) Powell of Indianapolis; Jean Zeabart of Zionsville, IN; 2 grandchildren, Kurt (Leslie) Duncan of Nashville, IN; Eric (Brenda) Duncan of Carthage, IN; and 3 great-grandchildren, Brittany Duncan, Nattalee Duncan, and Piper Duncan.
Preceding her in death are her parents listed above, husband, Lawrence "Pete" Duncan who passed away in 1976, son, Larry Duncan, daughter, Marilyn Duncan, and sister, Ruth Fall.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St. Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
