Doris I. Johnson April 24, 1926 - February 20, 2007
Doris I. Johnson, 80, of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Regency Place, Greenfield.
She was born April 24, 1926 in Hancock County to the late Albert "Guy" and Nellie Florence (Flowers) Dobbins.
She attended Maxwell High School and was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church.She worked for Ben Franklin for several years.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra K. Kinnaman of Greenfield; sons, Dale Johnson of Morristown, Steven Johnson, John Johnson, Rick Johnson all of Greenfield; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Merideth Johnson, whom she married July 31, 1943; sisters, Gladys May Pressnall, Mildred Louise Howrey, and Helen Fern Roseberry.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday February 23, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. Sally Dickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. on Thursday February 22, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home.

Comments My thoughts and prayers are with each family member of Mrs. Johnson. Rest assure she has met her master the Lord Jesus Christ and is setting on high watching each " of you. She is your Guardian Angel now as she earned her heavenly wings when she departed this life on earth and entered her heavenly home in eternity.I can recall her from my early childhood yrs. My grandparents new this family well, I recall what a great family it is, Rick was the one I remember most as a child growing up. He later lived only doors from my grandparents and I guess I will never forget him running the roller skate rink up town and hosting a benefit skate for my cousin who was diagnose with Leukemia at the age of 2 back in the early 1980s.
