Comments Dorothy was an important person in my life. Her kindness was a hallmark. When my father had cancer in 2000 she showed her internal beauty by giving him such warmth " and care. It really indicated the nature of her sole. I'll never forget her homecooked meals. Meals cooked with love. She was an avid gardener. The vegtables she grew were always perfect. Big and full of flavor. She was always quick to prepare a bag of food and vegtable for you to take home too.
Another thing that made her unique was her energy level. "Dottie" as we called her, had the energy of ten people. She was up by 5:00 a.m. cleaning, cooking and getting ready for the day. She kept an immaculate home. Meals were often formal, served on time and quickly cleaned up.
Besides her internal beauty, she took pride in her appearance and boy did it show. Even when working on the most mundane chore, she looked like she was ready to host royalty.
Besides keeping a home that looked like a showcase, Dottie loved nature. Gardening was only part of that love. She cherished birds and loved haning feeders and enjoying their visits to her yard.
Dottie, we'll miss you. Rest well knowing our love and peace are with you.

To the family of Mrs. Dorothy Christian, I met your mother through my former employer. I will say that Dorothy was the kindest, sweetest, woman I had met in a " long time. May God be with you during this sad time for your family and friends.

I'm truly sorry to hear of Dorothy's passing. She was a wonderful neighbor of mine for 13 years. She was a wonderful woman and will be dearly missed. She quietly " tolerated my three children growing up over the years as I'm sure she did the previous owners children as well. I know you are with a greater power Dorothy and you will be missed. God Bless you, Connie
