Dorothy Deem April 21, 1921 - June 25, 2010 Dorothy Deem age 89 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 at Sugar Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Greenfield. She was born April 21, 1921 in Paris, Illinois and is the daughter of the late Hiram B. and Ethel V. (Shawver) Morrow. She had worked at Gordon Lumber Company and was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Church of Holliday Florida and a former member of the Christian Church of Danville, Illinois. Surviving include sons, Phillip (Susan) Deem of Greenfield; Les (Debra) Deem of Covington, IN; four grandchildren, Amanda Wade of Covington, IN, Matthew Deem of Columbus, GA, Brad Deem of Covington, IN, Jennifer Shields of Greenfield; five great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Morrow of Indianapolis, IN and Gene Morrow of Danville, IL. Preceded in death by her husband Fred A. Deem, December 2003. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. I have great memories of good " times with Fred and Dorothy at the family reunions as well as the visits to Grandma and Granddad Deems for Thanksgiving meals.
