Dorothy Shaner Brown Miller April 1, 1920 - December 23, 2007 Dorothy Shaner Brown Miller, 87, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2007 in Greenfield. She retired in 1982 from G.C. Murphy of Fountain Square, Indianapolis after 30 years of employment and was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church, Indianapolis. She is survived by her daughters, Jackie L. Wright, Betty McCarley; son, James G. Brown; sister, Helen Hardesty; brother, Rev. Ronald Shaner; three grandchildren, three step- grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, James W. Brown and Harry M. Miller, also one Granddaughter. Private Entombment services will be held at Concordia Cemetery, Indianapolis.
