Douglas W. Roberts

Douglas W. Roberts, 67, passed away on February 11, 2024, at Community East Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Douglas was born on February 8, 1957, in Stanford, Kentucky to William L. Roberts and Carole L. Roberts.

Douglas attended and graduated high school at Arsenal Tech in Indianapolis, IN. He later met and married the love of his life, Dianna, on May 23, 1979, and to that union, a son and a daughter were born. Douglas was a skilled machinist and worked for Eli Lilly, from which he retired in 2010. Douglas loved going to family gatherings, fishing, and classic cars. His passion was spending time on the beach in the sun.

Douglas leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Dianna Roberts; two children, William (Nancy) Roberts and Jennifer (Kelley) Saylor; his mother Carole; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and two siblings.

He was preceded by his father, William Roberts and his brother Michael Roberts.

A memorial service will be held at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140 on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will begin at 12:00 p.m.
