Duane M. Cochran September 9, 1929 - December 3, 2007 Duane M. Cochran age78 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Monday evening at Brandywine Nursing & Rehabilitation, Greenfield. He was born September 9, 1929 in Indianapolis, Ind. to the late Lucien and Daisy H. (Wachtstetter) Cochran. He served his country during the Korean War in the US Marine Corps and retired from Sears Roebuck & Co. transportation in 1993 after 44 years of employment. He was a member of the Indianapolis Teamsters 135 Retiree Club and the Hancock County Amateur Radio Club. He is survived by his wife Carol (West) Cochran whom he married November 10, 1956, one brother, Robert of College Station, Texas, two grandchildren, Michael Duane Cochran of Vine Grove, KY, Scott Duane Cochran of Iraq, adopted granddaughter, Leah Song Cochran of Korea, 1 nephew and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Duane M. Cochran, Jr. and brother, Earl Cochran. Friends and family are welcome to attend the graveside service 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Park Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Comments Carol, My prayers are with you.
