Dwight Sherriff

Dwight E, Sherriff, age 68 of Greenfield passed away after a brief illness on January 24, 2019 at St. Vincents Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born April 29, 1950 in Garden City, Michigan to the late Charles and Grace (Snyder) Sherriff. He married Grace (Schneider) on November 5, 1994. Dwight served in the United States Army. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, the American Legion and the 40 & 8. He loved all people and kids and was quite the jokester. He enjoyed golf, fishing and yard work. He is survived by his wife Grace of Greenfield; son, Justin Walton; god sons, Michael (Michelle) Jenkins, William (Nicole) Jenkins; 3 brothers, 3 sisters and a sister-in-law. Friends may call 4-7 pm, Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 West Main Street, Greenfield, Indiana 46140. Funeral Service 2 pm, Wednesday, January 30 at the funeral home with Chaplain Ron Conn officiating.
