Earl E. Moore May 3, 1916 - March 12, 2007
Earl E. Moore, 90, of Greenfield, passed away Monday March 12, 2007 in Greenfield.
He was born May 3, 1916 in Greencastle to the late Edgar and Lillian Dale (Goddard) Moore.
After graduating from Purdue University he began teaching chemistry at Greenfield High School and was the head of the science department for many years. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a member of Bradley United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Martha (Whitesell) Moore, whom he married November 20, 1941; daughters, Christine Moore, Terry Allen both of Greenfield; brother, Robert Moore of South Yarmouth, MA; sister, Blanche Stetzer of Fort Wayne; and 2 grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by brothers, Phillip Moore, LeRoy Moore; and sister, Mary Roudebush.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Washington Park East. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home.
