Earl C Stephens

Earl C Stephens, age 69, of Greenfield, passed away on May 11, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 30, 1950, in Russell Springs, Ky to the late Cecil E. & Elena (Gossage) Stephens Earl graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1969. He married the love of his life, Jackie Stephens, on August 28, 1971. He spent his career with Miller Pipeline until his retirement in 2008. Earl enjoyed fishing, flea markets, woodworking & riding his Gator. His world revolved around his grandkids. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his precious family who he loved dearly. Left to cherish Earl's memory are his wife; Jackie (Anderson) Stephens, children; Tony (Sarah McKee)Stephens & Terry (Heidi) Stephens; grandchildren, Brooke, Brady, Bailey, Madison & Zachary Stephens; siblings, Jeanette (Archie) Archibald, Rosemary Anderson, Kenny (Roberta Reeder) Stephens, Becky Green & Bruce (Amy) Stephens, brother-in-law's who were more like brothers, Clarence Smith, Eddie Davis & Archie Archibald, also several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Earl is proceeded in death by his parents listed above and his brother Dennis Stephens. Visitation for Earl will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Thursday May 14, 2020 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. Due to the Governor's executive order and social distancing, we will only allow 25 to be inside the building at any given time The funeral service will be private to the family.
