Edith Willean (Dodd) Morris

Edith Willean (Dodd) Morris, 81, Greenfield, IN, passed peacefully on June 27, 2025. Edith was born on July 23, 1943, in Haleyville, Alabama, to Ellis and Lorene (Downey) Dodd. She is a 1961 Greenfield High School graduate. Edith married her high school sweetheart, William Morris, on December 24, 1961.

Edith was a homemaker throughout her life; enjoying her relationship with William, raising her girls, and tending to her home. Edith loved to garden, quilt, cook, and collect antiques. She was a member of Greenfield Church of Christ.

Edith is survived by her loving daughter, Laura Morris; son-in-law, Kelly Frazier; grandson, Kyle (Katy) Frazier; sisters, Joyce (Walt) Halsey and Pat (Steve) Montani; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 43 years, William Morris; daughter, Robin Frazier; granddaughter, Stephanie Morris; and sister, Evelyn Basham.

Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Greenfield, is of assistance to the Morris family. Per Edith's request, there will not be any visitation nor service.
