Edward W. Clifford May 13, 1915 - October 15, 2014 Edward Wallace Clifford, 99 of Greenfield passed away Wednesday October 15, 2014 at the Country Home Healthcare in Charlottesville. He was born on May 13, 1915 in Oaklandon, IN, the son of the late Frances Lawson and Lillie E. (Wallace) Clifford. Edward was a veteran of WWII and a retired mail carrier. When he was younger he bred sheep and enjoyed gardening. He also spent four years as a Scout Leader in the Boy Scouts of America for Troop 115. He is survived by son, Dale (Ginger) Clifford; daughter, Sue Grigsby; sister, Jess Bever; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 nieces and 2 nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents; wife, Anna (Caldwell) Clifford; siblings, Alice Perry, Byron Clifford, and Laura Walker; a great-great grandson and a nephew. Funeral services will be 1 PM, Monday, October 20, 2014 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel 1780 West Main Street Greenfield, Indiana 46140 with burial with full military honors will follow in Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-1 PM the same day at the funeral home.
