Edward E. Eastes, age 72 of Kokomo, IN passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Aperion Care in Kokomo. He was born on May 21, 1944 in Indianapolis to the late William & Myrtle (Rowe) Eastes. Edward graduated from Mt. Comfort High School in 1962. He would marry the love of his life, Lois Froedge on March 14, 1977. Edward spent his career working at the Chrysler Transmission Plant in Kokomo for over 40 years until his retirment in 2007. Edward enjoyed riding his Goldwing Honda Touring Bike and watching old John Wayne Westerns. He was a Member of the Morristown American Legion #102; UAW Local #685 & the Morristown Masonic Lodge F&AM #193 where he was Past Master. Surviving Edward is his wife of 40 years, Lois Eastes; sons, Darrin (Lisa) Eastes of Greenfield; David (Katy) Eastes of New Palestine; Samuel (Carla) Chappell; daughters, Caroline (Curt Long) Phillips of Greenfield; Barbara (John) Anderson of Greenfield; Tanya (Kenny) Parham of Knightstown; Janet Dodson of Glasgow, KY; brother, Gary (Doris) Eastes Sr. of Pendleton; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Preceding Edward in death are his parents listed above; and son, Leonard Dillard Jr. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140.
