Edward Neal Rucker November 9, 1943 - March 1, 2013 Edward Neal Rucker, 69, of Greenfield passed away on Friday March 1, 2013 in Greenfield. He was born on November 9, 1943 in Carthage, Indiana, the son of the late John and Vera Mae (Porter) Rucker. Edward was a 1962 graduate of Carthage High School and was a member of the 1962 Boys Basket Ball team that won the County Basket Ball Championship. He retired in 1997 from Detroit Diesel Allison where he was a Tool & Die Maker. He loved to fish, hunt and trap. Edward was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. He is survived by his wife of 31 years whom he married on January 9, 1982, Phyllis (Webb) Rucker, sons, Edward Neal Rucker Jr. (Lisa) of Muncie, Bryan Smith of Greenfield, daughters, Shari Foust of Bloomington, Laurallee Rucker of Denver, CO, Debbie (Phil) Bewley of Carthage and Kathy Power of Boca Raton, Fl, 14 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brother, Mike (Demi) Rucker of Ocala, Fl, sister Kristine Moody of Fl. several nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by parents, granddaughter, Jessica Bewley Johnson, brothers, Jim and John Rucker and sister Linda Spence. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday March 7, 2013 at the Stillinger Family Funeral Home 1780 West Main Street Greenfield, IN, 46140 with burial to follow in Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 6, 2013 at the funeral home. The family request that everyone dress casual for the visitation and funeral,
