Edward L. Col. Stout, Iv

Col. Edward L. Stout IV, age 69 of Greenfield, IN passed away on Monday, May 15, 2017 at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. He was born on October 15, 1947 in Danville, IL to the late Edward Stout II & Helen (Curtis) Stout. Edward received his bachelors degree from Kemper Military School and would spend his career working for the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Karen (Myers) Stout on September 5, 1970. Edward attended St. Michael Catholic Church and was a member of the American Legion Post 152. Surviving Edward is his wife, Karen Stout of Greenfield; daughters, Candice Gerlach; Katey Bryan both of Michigan; and Stephanie Fahner of Fishers; and six grandchildren. Preceding Edward in death are his parents listed above. Friends may visit from 10:00am to 12:00pm on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Deacon Wayne Davis officiating. Burial with full military rites will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
