Eileen E Dages

Eileen E. Dages September 14, 1921 - October 26, 2007 Eileen E. (Jones) Dages, 86, of Greenfield, passed away Friday, October 26, 2007 at Brandywine Nursing and Rehabilitation of Greenfield. She was born September 14, 1921 in Montgomery, IN to the late Lawrence and Margaret (Arvin) Jones. Eileen graduated from Montgomery High School, and on May 10, 1949, she married Donald Dages, who survives her. She served as a clerk in the U. S. Army in WWII and worked for Omar Baking for over 15 years. She went on to tutor students in mathematics at I.P.S. Schools for 10 years. Eileen enjoyed gardening and traveling in her spare time. Mrs. Dages is also survived by her daughter, Martha Basey of Greenfield; son, Philip Dages of Greenfield; sisters, Betty Sauer of Greenfield, Mary Harrst of Newburgh; brother, Tom Jones of Bella Vista, Ark., grandchildren, Christina and Michael Basey, both of Greenfield. She is also preceded in death by her sisters, Pauline Jones Griffin and Pearl Jones Hand; brothers, Max Jones and William Jones. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Monday, October 29, 2007 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield, with military honors provided by the Greenfield Veterans Honor Guard.
