Elaine Wolven

Elaine Wolven 79, of New Palestine passed away at her residence, Sunday May 11, 2025. She was born May 27,1945 in New Castle, Indiana, to the late Ralph and Ruth (Madden) Price.

She is the last of seven children Elaine had a passion for home decor and attained her degree in Interior Design and Floral Design. She later Owned and Managed "Elaine's" Home decor store with her daughter Amy with stores around Indianapolis. After retiring she enjoyed playing bingo with friends at Sertoma and attending auctions. She worked as a Grill cook at the Top Hat Restaurant and was known for her tremendous cooking and baking skills for herself and others. Elaine was known for her great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She was most proud to be a mother, grandmother and a great grandmother better known as Grammy. She leaves behind her children, Rick (Angie) Jones of Fishers, Chris Wolven of Cicero, Amy E. (Chris) Meyer of Milroy, Mark (Heidi) of Indianapolis, grandchildren, Andrew (Chandler) Jessup, Samuel Hunter (Sara) Jessup, Kela Hobbs, Kendra Thomas, Kylie Thomas, great-grandchildren, Lucas James Jessup, Thomas Russell Jessup, Conner, Sylas and Rainlynne.

Elaine has proven that with her cancer and limited mobility all things are possible with God's strength. Our favorite verse " I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me" Phil 4:13

There will be no services at this time. Arrangements have been entrusted to Stillinger Family Funeral home, Hendryx Chapel, New Palestine.
