Eldon "Al" Henning

Eldon "Al" W. Henning, age 91, of Greenfield, passed away on October 28, 2019 at Legacy at Springhurst surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 31, 1928, in Logansport, IN to the late Edwin & Ruby (Buckner) Henning Al spent his career as an autobody repair man until his retirement. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the NRA. Al was lovingly know by his family and the staff at Springhurst as "BooBoo". Al enjoyed John Wayne movies, guns, holsters and fast draw competitions. He also enjoyed the guitar, motorcycles and Elvis movies and music, but most of all spending time with his precious family who he loved dearly. Left to cherish Al's memory are two nieces; Ruby Hines & Cheryl Morehead-Keene, great- nieces and nephew; Lisa Hines, Ryan (Jennifer) Morehead and Rachel Morehead, great-great nieces and nephew; Brooklyn, Lexi, Kiera, Jade and Ryan Jr.. Visitation for Al will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday November 1, 2019, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow the funeral service at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Greenwood.
