Elmer Gibson October 6, 1949 - December 11, 2011 Elmer Gibson age 62 years, a resident of Greenfield passed away Sunday December 11, 2011 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis He was born October 6, 1949 in Democrat, Kentucky to the late Travis and Hassie (Moore) Gibson. He was a mechanic at Turner Automotive, a member of Mt. Pleasant Christian Fellowship, VFW Post 2693 and Moose Lodge both of Greenfield. He is survived by his sons, Travis (Robin) Gibson of Greenfield, Robert Gibson of Greenfield; companion, Rita Everidge Browning of Indianapolis; sister, Elnora Diamond of Loogootee, Indiana; granddaughters, Taylor Gibson, Kim Whisman, Kaleigh Gibson and grandson, Travis J. Gibson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen (Griffith) Gibson and a sister, Darlene Little. Family and friends may call Thursday December 15, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at later date at Park Cemetery, Greenfield.
