My thoughts are with you all " Cindy Bryant - November 21, 2011 at 04:54 PM Peggy, " So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mother. I had the pleasure of living next door to Evelyn for four years. She always had a kind word to say to me, my husband, and my girls. From her many trips to the hospital " over the years, I became the proud recipient of several pairs of non-skid hospital socks. She frequently provided my girls with ice cream treats when she saw us out front. Evelyn generously gave our family two "hens and chicks" plants. I haven't been as good to them as I should have been, but they keep coming back - even after my neglect. If they bounce back after this difficult winter, I will ensure they get the care they deserve. They'll be a living reminder of Evelyn and the happiness she brought to my life the very short time she was a part of it.
