Everett H. Kyser Jr. February 10, 1936 - February 7, 2013 Everett H. Kyser, Jr., 76 years, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at his residence. He was born Feb. 10, 1936 in Hancock County, IN to the late Everett & Mary Vivian (Bash) Kyser Sr. He graduated from Charlottesville High School in 1954, served in the US Marine Corps., and retired from Delco Remy of Anderson after 31 years. He was a member of the Charlottesville Friends Church, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, lifetime member of the Ohio Gun Club Association, member of the Wortman-Lowe Enduring Freedom Marine Corps. Detachment #1263, member of the Hancock County Sheriffs Auxiliary, 1977-1988, Auxiliary Officer of the Year, 1978-1979 and was Captain of the Sheriffs Auxiliary from 1980 until 1982. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Sims) Kyser of Greenfield, whom he married on Jan. 12, 1968, daughters, , Kim (Will) Anderson, Kelly (Mike) Merlau , Cathy (Tom) Harris all of Greenfield, son, Mike (Theresa) Wilson of Mooresville, IN, sister, Mary Carolyn Galliher of Anderson, 9 grandchildren, Leah (Scott) Dillard, Megan (Kevin) Harris, Brad Reasner, Curtis (Julie) Merlau, Chris Harris, Kyle Reasner, Lauren (Kyle) Anderson, Meredith Harris, Mary Merlau, a great-granddaughter, Meadow Duncan, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters Leah Wicker and Vera Glisson. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastors David Deem and Cathy Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, Morristown.
