Everett L. Wiese February 1, 1924 - February 4, 2007 Everett L. Wiese, 83, of Greenfield passed away Sunday, February 4, 2007 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born February 1, 1924 in Cumberland, Indiana and is the son of the late Louis and Matilda (Kruse) Wiese. He was a US Army Korean War veteran that retired from Delco-Remy of Anderson, was a self-employed farmer that loved to spend time selling goods at the Farmers Market. He was a member of Eden United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing euchre at the Eagles, Charlottesville Lions Club and an avid dancer. He is survived by his step-son, Charlie (Dorothy) Cheshier of Greenfield, foster sons, Ronnie Barnett of Greenfield, Roy Barnett of Florida, 2 nieces, Carol Sparks, Debbie Shipley, nephew, Bill Shipley all of Greenfield, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty in 1993, infant twin sister, Edith Wiese and a sister Esther Shipley. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield. Burial will follow at Eden Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
