Flora Maud Boots June 15, 1925 - May 27, 2008 Flora Maud Boots, 82, a resident of Greenfield, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in Pineville, North Carolina. She was born June 15, 1925 in Hancock County, Indiana. She retired in 1977 from the U.S. Postal Service, Indianapolis and was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 558, Greenfield. Maud & Charles (deceased in 1986) married 45 years whose family included; 6 children and their spouses, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great- great grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother and one sister. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Private family burial will be held at the familys convenience. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Comments Finding the right words to say at these times are always most difficult. " Our strength sometimes comes from simply knowing how much we are loved and cared about. We survive these difficult times usually via memories and stories shared by others and we certainly have many great memories and stories of Maud. And she always wanted me to sit down and play cards..
