Frank E. Bostick February 4, 1930 - August 7, 2010
Frank E. Bostick 80, a resident of Shelbyville, formerly of Greenfield, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2010 at the Heritage House Convalescent Center in Shelbyville.
He was born February 4, 1930 in Tribbey, Oklahoma and was the son of the late Jim and Georgia (Allenbaugh) Bostick.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951 to 1953. He retired in 1992 after 36 years of service from the Kroger Bakery Department. He was a former member of the Greenfield American Legion #119. He loved to garden, walk, bike ride and spend time with his family.
He is survived by a son, Steven Ray (Barbara) Bostick of Greenfield; two daughters, Beverly Diane (Terry) Smith of Shelbyville; Amy Jo Bostick of Rockville, IN; step-sister, Diana Hatcher; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Zoe (Soupie) Bostick; 2nd wife, Mary (Hargrove) Bostick; three sisters, Virginia Roseburg, Geneva Lynch, Edna Marrs and three grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield on Wednesday, August 11, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
