Frank H. Jordon January 1, 1924 - September 4, 2008
Frank H. Jordon, 84, a resident of Greenfield, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, September 4, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1924 in Harris, Kentucky to the late Lewis and Lone (Howard) Jordon.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during WWII, was a member of the First Baptist Church, Greenfield, was a retired carpenter, loved to fish and fix small engines. He also loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
He is survived by nine children; Janice (Tom) Barton of Knightstown, Jerry (Linda) Jordon of Shirley, Cheryl (Norbert) Kedrowicz of Lufkin, TX, Stephen Miller of Alpena, MI, Bruce (Debbie) Jordon of Ossineke, MI, Timothy (Pamela) Jordon of Winter Springs, FL, Randall (Helen) Jordon of Oveido, FL, Gina (Jeff) Colclazier of Greenfield, Debra (James) Cavaletto of Fountaintown; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nila (Van Duyn) Jordon, whom he married October 23, 1955; brothers, John and Birch Jordon; sisters, Judy Southard and Jewel Barnes.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield with Dr. Glenn C. Riggs officiating. Military graveside rites will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield provided by the Knightstown American Legion #152. Friends may call Monday, September 8, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
