Fred "Freddie" D. Duncan

Fred "Freddie" D. Duncan, 63 years, a resident of Fountaintown, Ind. died Monday February 17, 2025 at Hancock Regional Hospital, Greenfield. He was born March 12, 1961 in Greenfield, Ind. to the late Fred C. and Helen (Geiger) Duncan.

Fred graduated from New Palestine High School in 1979 and later retired as a 40 year truck driver for Kloechner Metals. He was a Senior Member of Civil Air Patrol assigned in the National Service Academy at Camp Atterbury and worked in logistics and communications. He worked with Indiana Homeland Security now known as AUXCOM as a Hamm Radio Operator call sign KC9FLB. Fred was a member of the Indianapolis Radio Club, Morristown Long Rifle Club and Rushville Pioneer Engineers. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed working on his many allis Chalmers Tractors, enjoyed being a war video gamer, spending time with his family, God children, friends and his fur baby Mia.

He is survived by his sister, Tammy (Wayde) Veach, God children, Craig (Lisa) Jones, Amanda (Eli) Konermann, nephew, Jeff (Mandy) Cook, nieces, Becky (Kris) Ward, Tiffany (Ryan) Beard, Victoria Veach, great nephews, Wyatt Cook, DJ Barnes, Jimmie Beard, Ezra Beard, great nieces, Gracie Cook, Sammi Barnes, Anabelle Beard, best friends, Holly Burton, Nicole Harmon, fur baby, Mia and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents listed above, and step children, Amber Montagano and Rebecca Montagano-Mitchell

Visitation will be 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, 1780 W. Main Street, Greenfield, IN 46140. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday, February 21, 2025 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery, Morristown, Indiana.
