Freddie J. McKinley June 15, 1943 - May 12, 2008 Freddie J. McKinley, 64, a resident of Greenfield, formerly of Anderson, passed away Monday, May 12, 2008 at Hancock Regional Hospital. He was born June 15, 1943 in New Castle, IN to the late Arthur L. and Nellie O. (Rice) McKinley. He was a 1961 graduate of Knightstown High School. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Delco Remy, Plant 11, as a Machine Operator in 1999. He was a 6th degree black belt in karate, was Sensei of his karate studio and was a lifetime member of the United States Karate DO-KAI under Master Phillip Koeppel. He is survived by his wife, Marsha A. McKinley whom he married May 2, 1975; sons, Robert and Bradley Eastes, both of Anderson; daughters, Faith (John) Terry of Georgia and Robin (Steve) Armstrong of Greenfield; 8 grandchildren, Arin Davis of Anderson, Heather Terry of Georgia, Seslie Smith of Greenfield, Connor Terry of Georgia, Joshua Eastes of Greenfield, Taylor Eastes of Anderson, Jamie Terry of Georgia, and Peyton Armstrong of Florida; Very Best Friend, Larry Davenport of Anderson. He was preceded in death by brother, Gene McKinley. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel, Greenfield. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery, Greenfield. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service.
