Gary Duane Kremer

Gary D. Kremer, age 77 of Indianapolis, IN passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He was born on October 30, 1940 in Wapello, IA to the late Lillian (Gustafson) Kremer. Gary graduated from Burlington High School and attended continued his education at Burlington College, where he received his degree in Arts. He married the love of his life, Linda, on November 25, 1970. Gary spent most of his career working at JCPenney until retirement and was an active member of Brandywine Community Church in Greenfield who was passionate about serving within the church food pantry. He enjoyed drawing and woodworking, but most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving Gary is his wife of 46 years, Linda Kremer of Indianapolis; son, Steve (Jenny) Kremer of Indianapolis; daughter, Kathy (Nate) Bohanan of Fishers; brothers, Don (Lois) Kremer of Fairfield, IA; Bob (Kay) Kremer of Burlington, IA; and grandchildren, Ruby; Elle; Boston; Ben; and Lily. Visitation will be held from 4:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, November 10, 2017 at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, Pasco Chapel of Greenfield, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A Celebration of Life Service will be held following the visitation at 7:00pm with Pastors Mark Wright & Matt Wickham from Brandywine Community Church officiating. In memory of Gary please donate to the food pantry at Brandywine Community Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
